Want to give your clients an extra reason to keep coming back to your practice? With care plans in Fuga, you offer subscriptions that allow clients to receive certain services and products at a discount or even for free. This not only ensures healthier pets but also strengthens client relationships!

How to add a care plan?

  1. Activate care plans in Fuga - Go to Configuration > Practice Preferences > General and check the 'Care Plan' option. This will make all relevant settings available in your account. More info.
  2. Make them visible in your menu - Go to Configuration > My Preferences > Menu Options and add 'Care Plan' to the 'COnfiguration' menu. Also, add 'Add Care Plan' to the available actions.
  3. Create a new care plan - In the Configuration tab, click 'Add Care Plan'. You can also quickly create a new plan via the search bar by entering an asterisk (*) and clicking the plus sign. Read how here.
  4. Fill in the details - Name: Choose a recognizable name (and add multilingual versions for smooth communication with clients). Animal Class & Species: Want to offer the plan only for certain animals? Set that up here. Duration & Cancellation Period: Define how long the care plan is valid and the conditions for cancellation. Contract & Price: Link a contract template and determine the pricing structure. Consider activation fees, monthly payments, and possible deactivation fees.
  5. Add the right items - In the 'Care Plan Items' tab, you can add procedures, protocols, and products. You also set how often something is included and whether there is a discount. This way, you decide exactly what your clients receive!
  6. Activate and publish - Done setting up? Click 'Publish'! After publishing, some fields, such as name, animal class, and duration, are locked.

How do I actually use a care plan?

  1. Link a care plan to an animal - Go to the animal file, open the 'Care Plans' tab, and add a new care plan. Here, you can adjust the owner, start date, and payment period if needed.
  2. Manage the contract - After saving, you can download a contract, have it signed by the client, and upload the signed document to the file.
  3. Use the care plan during a consultation - During a consultation or sale, you will see a 'Care Plan' option next to treatments and products. Here, you can link the items to the correct care plan. Handy: the system immediately shows how many units of that item are still included!
